Dear Lord, thank You for the walk in the rain this morning. Thank You for having me look at the raindrops in the puddle and thinking about how beautiful they are as they reflect the pink blooms in the trees. Thank You for reminding me that my actions, both good and bad are like the ripples of water from the raindrops and affect people around me. Thank You for the excited robins pulling worms out of the ground with great energy! Thank You for giving me today, for helping me with my computer that had issues today, and for helping me be more patient.

Lord have mercy,

God the Father of heaven,

Have mercy on us.

God the Son, Redeemer of the World,

 Gate of Heaven, Morning Star, Health of the Sick, pray for us

Gate of Heaven, pray for us. As we contemplate the third joyous mystery, the Birth of Christ, help us to have the spiritual fruit of holy detachment.

Morning Star, as we look to you to guide us to Christ, help us to be detached from all selfish inclinations, help us detach from objects, greed, toxic relationships and empty desires. Help us detach from mental clutter and become more simple in needs and thoughts. Health of the Sick, as so many people are currently sick and isolated, please elevate their minds to heaven through the bodily detachment they have to humanity and bring it to holy union with Christ. Help all of the sick, doctors and nurses, especially those with the coronavirus, to grow in love for heaven and for you, dear Mother. Place your sweet maternal mantle around all of those afraid and be their Mother.

Hail Mary full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art though among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory for ever.

All glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be a world without end. Amen.
