Third Rose: Mother of the Church, Mother of Divine Grace, Pray for us

My dear Lord, I woke up feeling sad to not be able to go to Holy Mass this Sunday morning, and I am grateful that your priests are celebrating online for us.  I know that you see me, hear me and love me and that you want me to hear and follow Your word in the Psalms, "This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad." - Psalms 118:24. I rejoice because you love me, I rejoice for your mercy, and I rejoice for this opportunity to grow closer to you. Jesus went into the desert for 40 days, let this time of quarantine for us be an opportunity to also turn away from sin and turn to You.  Sustain us, and guide us.

God the Father of heaven,
Have mercy on us.
God the Son, Redeemer of the World,
Have mercy on us.
God the Holy Spirit, Holy Trinity one God,

Mother of the Church, Mother of Divine Grace, pray for us

Mother of the Church, Mother of Divine Grace please be with us. Today, Sunday, Mother of the Church you see your children: those who can attend Holy Mass, those who can't because of this virus, and those who wouldn't know where to start if they could attend Holy Mass, and many more. As we dwell on the third Sorrowful Mystery of Christ, the Crowning of Thorns, please grow in our hearts the virtue to have Christ as the King of our hearts.

Your beloved Son was humiliated, tortured and endured so much pain for us. As he was ridiculed and humiliated, may you help us grow in humility that this virus is imposing on us. May our hearts not be rigid with pride and resentment. Please, dear Mother of the Church, fill your children with humility and place Christ as King in our hearts to flow with an increase in faith, hope and love. We pray for those who are dying alone, that you may comfort them. Send your legions of angels to be with them. Mother of Divine Grace, you stepped on the head of the devil symbolized by a snake. Please, we need you, Mom, to come help us and step on the head of this snake. The Virus is spreading not only infirmity and death, but fear, anxiety and despair. None of these are from God. Intercede most beautiful Mother of Divine Grace, and poke out your beautiful delicate foot to crush and kill this snake.

Hail Mary full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art though among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory for ever.

All glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. Amen.
