Holy Mass for today, March 26, 2020
Celebrant: Fr. Dan Leary

Heavenly Father, thank you for the good in my day, that far outweighed the bad. Thank you for every good thing you gave me, from my co-workers who have been so helpful, and good friends to talk to, and wonderful priests who pray for us when we reach out. Please bless each of the people I came in contact with today, even the ones I barely know and just passed by. Please fill me with gratitude and an optimistic spirit to keep me from weighing down with sadness or drudgery. Please, Holy Spirit, give me joy.

Lord have mercy,
Christ have mercy,
Lord have mercy,
Christ hear us,
Christ graciously hear us,.

God the Father of heaven,
Have mercy on us.
God the Son, Redeemer of the World,
Have mercy on us.
God the Holy Spirit, Holy Trinity one God,
Have mercy on us.

Maris Stella, Star of the Sea, from this ship I bring you my fourteenth rose. Holy Mother, on this ship of the world, we are setting our sails in the storm. Help us, dear Mother, to not sink ourselves but to look to you as you guide us. Please protect your children. Come out to the water, Holy Mother, please come in this storm and be with us.

Refuge of Sinners, Comfort of the Afflicted, Help of Christians, pray for us

Refuge of Sinners, pray for us. Holy Mother, oh how easy it is to sin being cramped at home! Each fault jumps out more evidently the longer we are around each other. Small defects seem larger and large defects seem like mountains. Refuge of Sinners,  help us be more forgiving as we contemplate the fourth joyous mystery, the Offering of Jesus at the temple and help us to grow in the fruit of obedience to God's will.

Comfort of the Afflicted, help us be obedient in our hearts to Christ as you were obedient in taking Baby Jesus to the temple for consecration. Just as Simeon said to you, "Your own soul a sword will pierce" help us turn to you, Comfort of the Afflicted when we feel our sorrows seem insurmountable. Help us continue to be obedient even when we feel sorrow. Help of Christians, please place your lovely mantle on each of us, especially those in most need of a mother in this moment. Please place your mantle and be a mother to all of us. Help of Christians, please be a mother to Pope Francis tomorrow as he prays for the sick. Guide him, raise him, inspire him. Give him the grace of praying this with purity. We need, you, oh Holy Mother.

Hail Mary full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art though among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory for ever.

All glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be a world without end. Amen.

For Mom.

Help end this, Mary. Please intercede.
