Holy Mass for today, March 31, 2020
Celebrant: Fr. Dan Leary

Beloved Father, thank You for today. Thank you for the gift of this blog, of my mother, of my family and of my life. Thank You for priests in my life and for giving us nature to smile down on us when we walk and think of You. Thank You for filling my heart with peace and love today. Help  me be more like You.

Lord have mercy,
Christ have mercy,
Lord have mercy,
Christ hear us,
Christ graciously hear us,.

God the Father of heaven,
Have mercy on us.
God the Son, Redeemer of the World,
Have mercy on us.
God the Holy Spirit, Holy Trinity one God,
Have mercy on us.

Maris Stella, Star of the Sea, from this ship I bring you my nineteenth rose. My Mother, how did we get to the nineteenth rose? It went so fast! Well, dear Mother, we are still out in our bouncing ship, all of us in this storm. Please make a miracle happen, Maris Stella, and bring your people to safety. Please, Mary, crush the head of this snake.

Queen of Families, Queen of Peace, pray for us

Queen of Families, pray for us. Holy Mother as we contemplate the fifth Luminous Mystery, the Institution of the Eucharist, help us grow in the fruit of love of our Eucharistic Lord.

Queen of Peace, we need you. Help us Holy Mother to truly love our Lord in the Eucharist and to desire to meet Him again in a state of grace, purity and repentance from our patterns of sin. Help us Queen of Peace to use this time we have on earth to be seekers of good and strive to always be more like Christ. Queen of Families, so many families right now are torn apart by this virus or consequences of this virus. Queen of Peace, help us seek the Eucharist as we can right now and be close to Him in our hearts.

Hail Mary full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art though among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory for ever.

All glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be a world without end. Amen.

I feel like I want to give you more roses, Mother Mary...

Gifts today:

Shallots needed friends

They met some mushrooms, and a happy marriage ensured caramelizing in my kitchen pot over low heat. Like all love, slow cooking is often the best.

This guy checking out my litany to Mary.

Cherry blossoms falling like a tune by Chopin.
