Is there a blog rule that says you shouldn't blog when sleepy? Perhaps. Yet, dear blog it is summer. I just finished working Where the Wild Ones Are at summer camp, had a delicious dinner and am now blissfully hearing the machines wash things and thinking of the pretty pictures I have taken. All this before settling myself in to read a wonderful book. Life is good. Even if it is only for an hour, life is good this hour. Earlier today life was good for 10 minutes. I loved praying in the church and spending time in there alone. Have you ever prayed alone in a good old church? You should try it. Go in when it is empty, go to the candles and kneel and pray for whatever you think you need in life: serenity, strength, courage, dignity, better digestion, etc.
Here are some fun pictures from this weekend.
What does one wear to a blue grass festival? The longest earrings you can find!
Back at home, Termite couldn't be found.

I went to Jo Ann fabrics and saw these cuties which 2nd graders would have LOVED. |
We went down to DC to walk and look at people, because in the suburbs humans are scarce.

That little lite at the top is the room of a quilter. She is making a quilt for her love. |
And back at summer camp, the little girls decided to share their cookies with their doll. It was quite creepy if you ask me!
