Bentley Working from Home

Working from home has been pretty tough for a little old cat.

The glare of the computer isn't his cup of tea.

At 19, he is near the age of retirement, and as you can imagine was distressed to see his 401(k) take a nose dive. It was cause for a long nap.

And another nap.
 And another nap.

Bentley has done his best to pay attention to Zoom meetings, but is often distracted by other people's pets in the video.

Even planting an indoor garden wasn't satisfying.

It has thoroughly convinced him that he wasn't made to be an indoor, self-isolated, quarantined cat. Being quarantined is for the birds.

As a result, he has begun exploring life as an outdoor cat. He has enjoyed a walk outdoors every afternoon and has decided that being outside frequently in nature is the best way to enjoy life, working from home.

The nearby horses have also been enjoying time away from their computer screens.

And Bentley often visits Fatty's new hang out spot to send him love.

We think about this little face of Fatty every day.

On Mother's Day, Bentley baked his mother some bread with extra catnip and clawed with chalk on the driveway to wish all the mother's a happy Mother's day. He fondly recalls his own feline mother carrying him around by the scruff of his little neck.

Bentley's best tips for working from home are: nap, get outside a few times a day even for a few minutes at a time, eat plenty of fresh greens, and purr to your favorite music when you are on the computer.
