Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! Today is a day of victory for me, for you and for all of humanity. On this day, we celebrate the day that can be compared to no other day. It is a day of hope, peace and total exuberance that Jesus rose up from the dead. There He was, stone cold, with a shroud over His face and body, the same natural burial cloth that His mother had delicately placed over Him after having carefully arranged His dead and beaten body with her own hands... After 3 days, a light burst from the grave and He opened His eyes, bathed in the total splendor of the God Man, folded up the burial cloth and walked out shining like the sun. 

The sunrays blew me away this morning. So poetic.

All the gunk, the foul treatment, the abuse, the sin of us and our prior generations, all the putrid behaviors of humanity were taken to a grave with Him. He arose, giving us hope in forgiveness of all of that garbage and a future in Heaven with Him and choirs of angels. 

Father, Son, Holy Sprit

All braided together, and given in love as one God to us.

This morning, in Holy Mass, I could almost imagine crowds of angels cheering and cheering at the top of their angelic lungs as Father Bobby delivered the Homily and then solemnly and reverently knelt before the Eucharist. 

John 4:14 "Whoever drinks of the water I give him will never thirst again."

With the rosary, the glass is always full with that water to nourish the soul.

We are a step away from eternity at each moment in our lives. And personally, I would like to meet Jesus with a shining face of joy and not one of "What is going on here?" Let's make our hearts ready each day because each day is a gift and see each day as a beautiful mission.

Flowers get color with the sun. We get life from the Son.
